Hitch weight/tongue weight are the same. There are at least two type of sway bars, one uses friction and the other is a straight bar with a bend at the trailer end. They call that a cam. A double cam is said to be the best unit but as with most things, there is pro/con debate. The dual cam is much more expensive.
What I have learned is that the friction unit controls sway after the sway begins. The cam prevents the sway from beginning.
My dealer fully supports the Reese friction to be the most cost effective best choice for my TT (30ft total length)

As you point out on the weight, mine is the same, the majority of the weight is up front and the listed weights are EMPTY weights..
