Sheets ,bedspread for Salem

Now that we got it ,now we have to stock it, any suggestions other than camping world? For sheets and other such items. We have a short queen plus the inflatable couch bed, plus the dinette .the jack knife couch, plus two bunks.

Almost all of our sheets came from Walmart. Comforters came from Goodwill.

The extra just gets tucked under. Worst case, get one of those corner to corner elastic things with clips.

we just picked up an awesome quilt/comforter set from Bed Bath and Beyond. $200.00 set and we got it for about $70.00. They're having a great sale. This is a full set; skirt, comforter, shams and two accent pillows.
Right now I'm not using the skirt as we have storage drawers under the bed, but I figure if I want to ue it I'll turn it around backwards....the end will be tucked in under the top of the mattress and there'll be a skirt along both sides.

DH doesn't care for big fluffy comforters and this one is perfect, just enough fill and it's machine quilted, pefect weight for warm or cold weather, just add a blanket between sheet and comforter for cold nights....and right now it's COLD at night here in Pigeon Forge.

For sheets we just got the 500 thread count sheets at WalMart. I figure the higher the thread count the longer they'll last....and they feel *so* nice to boot.

Here too sheets, comforters etc mainly from Walmart bought to best fit the bed. To make things easier I sew the sheets into what I call "people cases" like giant pillow cases. Sewed together across the bottom and about one third of the way up each side. Makes bed making much easier too.

I've bought two sets of custom-fit sheets. I felt "short sheeted" both times. They really don't fit much better than standard sheets and the quality was noticeably lower. My next sheets will be off the shelf from Macy's, LLBean or WalMart - whoever has the best deal at the time.

For our RV Queen, I will order the custom fitted sheet. For the flat, I'll pick up a coordinating queen or even king size at bed, bath and beyond or Target, as well as blankets. Everything as to be machine washable, so my comforters or bedspreads tend to be pretty simple.

It's only the two of us, so I don't have to worry about any other bedding.

I found some really nice regular sheets sets on clearance at Target. I have a corner bed so most of the bedding tends to stay in place but I do tuck the extra length in. I took a quilt that I brought for the guest room in the house and gave it to the TT. The one that came with the trailer isn't soft and I'm keeping it in the house until or if I need it again.

I couldn't imagine using the one with the trailer to actually sleep with. Not soft at all. I only use it on the mattress between trips, so I can keep the sheets and comforter in space bags to stay fresh.

So you like them? They have a F rating on the BBB and a ton of complaints.

I've ordered two sets of sheets, a mattress and a topper from mattress insider. Great service and great quality.

I also like higher thread count sheets but didn't find the 800 or 1000 thread count to be softer after a couple of washings. My favorite sheets are 600 thread count. However, this can depend from one maker to another.

I guess it comes down to a personal choice.
