Had them on all 3of mine. Currently have metal covers to protect rolled up canvas from sun damage. I like em and have never heard any flapping.

Hey dcheatwood Does the metal covers stop the awning from getting wet when stowed? Just wondering because my new TT will have the metal cover also. If it ever comes in(That's another story)

Interesting, everyone I've talked to says they didn't like the fact that you can't disengage them when the wind is bouncing them and that they made a terrible racket. I guess different people have different experiences... Maybe I'll have to reconsider. I do love spending money...

No. I hoped it would but it does not. Only real benefit is sun fade protection I guess. And cosmetics.

Have ordered the full covered topper hope worth the extra $500. For 3 slideout reading your comment in here they will be better protected
