Slides

We have a 2014 395 XLR and seen hydraulic fluid under the camper this weekend while parks for a few weeks in between uses. Thought it was coming from a hose but then noticed it looked like it was coming from the hydraulic slide cylinder itself. Was wondering if anyone else has changed these out themselves or is there a way to have them rebuilt?

Took the leaking cylinder to a local shop and he said there was a bad spot in the shaft and that is probably what did the damage to the oring. He said there were cheap orings in it and he changed them out to a better seal. Hopefully I will get it installed tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

That's what I would have done, good luck...

Got the rebuilt cylinder put back in with no problems. Everything works great. But did notice that when the slide is moving in or out that it rubs a bolt that connects the two gear mechanisms. They used a bolt longer then needed, so that was a simple fix.
