IMO you will probably be going the class A route. Mostly because the likelihood of finding a toy hauler, to fit HD, and you n dh, that can be towed by a tachoma, Not good. Bigger truck n nicer TH or class A with garage. Kind of sounds like a fun dilemma ! Enjoy !
Thanks! We are actually driving ourselves crazy! We are so ready to hit the road, just can't figure it out!

put the bike in the tacoma, hook up to a class a and be gone. or look at a work/play brand trailer. not as fancy as some toy haulers, but will get the job done.

dont recall seeing what size harley you have, so putting in bed of tacoma may not be feasible.

We wish we could! Short bed and 850 lb Ultra Classic! Therein lies lots of problems! I suggested trading in for a new smaller one. He says "been there done that!"

I have seen a lift on the back of a class A that had a Gold Wing on, that should be comparable with your Harley, perhaps even heavier. I believe those are mounted to the frame rails. Might be worth looking into pulling your little truck behind 4 down, so there's no additional weight on the back of the coach.
By the way, I tried talking my wife into a toy hauler quite unsuccessfully. She equates it with parking the bike in her kitchen (not that there's anything wrong with that, right?)
Good luck in your quest to get away from it all, while taking it all along with you!!

My brother-in-law has a class c and just ordered a combo tow dolly. bike goes on platform in front and car goes behind. He has a road king. Around 4500 depending size needed.
