We are watertight and comfortable in our garage/bedroom of our toy hauler. Add a area rug over the floor and you will be all set!

We went to a fabric store, purchased black out material, made it into a drape and put a track just past where the bed ends when it is down. Put a radiant heater on the wall and set the thermostat for 65, it is nice in the curtained bedroom in the morning pull the curtain back and turn up the thermostat to warm up the rest of the trailer until you leave.

garage/living space

We have no slide outs and although there are just the two of us it was a shame to not use the garage . I came up with this idea from looking at the toy haulers that have a bed that goes up above when traveling with your toys.
I built a sort of elevator system which is steel gas pipe put together as a frame then a platform a winch from Harbor freight got a futon from our daughter. when we travel I raise it up to the ceiling block it so it stays there load the bike and off we go. When we are camping for extended times the bike stays out side and the futon comes down so the whole garage area is our living space. Add the TV, a throw rug, and we have a whole other room.
Works for us.

Ours seems to work OK. We have two bunks and a sofa bed. We haven't camped on any exceptionally cold nights, but no one has every complained about it.

The one we are ordering closes up tight and has blackout curtains. the bathroom is between the garage and the living areas so it is like a private bedroom! I didn't get the extra beds back there since we figured if we ever needed it we will just do cots. Mostly we are crating dogs back there.

We did the black curtains too. It's tight don't worry. We use it as a bedroom at night and a dining room the other times. It is very handy..
