Using BAL levelers. One, two, eh? Just how level do you need to have your TH?

Howdy,

I had a BAL leveler from my Trailmanor days. It was really a nice device for leveling the Trailmanor.

I am thinking that with the dual axles of the Palamino Unleashed 27SBU, I really should have one per axle. Even just leveling one axle seems to work pretty well, but I am thinking it would be easier to level with two (on the same side).

The additional question is just how level does the TH need to be???

Close to level is pretty good, however, the BAL is just a stabilizer, you should level the trailer by blocking under the wheels on the lower side until you have it close, the jack on the hitch should level it from front to back, at that point you can tweak it a bit with the BAL stabilizers. If you try to level the trailer with the BAL you can damage your frame as they are much lighter weight than the old heavy trailers.

BAL calls them levelers. They lift the entire tire up several inches using a worm gear. Unlike stabilizers they lift the entire side of the trailer.
