What should I expect with my purchase? I figured full propane tanks and battery. Water and sewer hoses. A included walk through with everything hooked up to verify proper operating of all components. Anything else. This is my first trailer as in a tv. I'm a heavy equipment/ fire apparatus technician so I'm very familiar with the mechanic of a trailer and how they should work from the electrical to propane. I figure it should be like a car dealer. Salesman get you familiar with your purchase and shows you how everything works

Inspect your truck?
Do they have the certification from the state?
I agree you did the right thing by walking.

Don't worry you paid for it somewhere in the deal. No such thing as a free lunch with these dealers. They lumped it in and called it free to make you feel good!

I just bought a xlr and it was internet advertised price but the dealer prep was $950 which included the walk through. I declined the dealer prep thus the walk through was only 20 minutes. Whole purchase the upper management was indifferent. Not the warm fuzziness . I really had to take emotion out of it and see it for the good price I recieved. Otherwise I would have told them to stuff it. I am still learning about my rv from friends and the directions that came with it. No customer service..

I'm with everyone else. However, just to make sure, you were buying a brand new unit, correct? Dealers will charge for a PDI if you are buying a used unit and have asked them to inspect the unit thoroughly before the sale.

So If you are just buying a new TT and you sleep through the walk through because they make it SOOOO boring you just want to get it over and done with the following link is a pretty good run-through (BTW It has a bunch of add ons they want to sell you but...https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=0iD38pOTS6Y

Or you can do like I did and take the camper back to the dealer and request a 2nd in depth walkthrough. My dealer was actually more helpful when I did that. The first time they rushed me through everything.

I drove 1000 for the deal, and it was well worth it.
