I've heard relatively good things about Jayco. I looked at Jayco, and then bought Forest River...if that tell's you anything.

My fil swears by jayco (though he seems REAL interested in my soon to be sold lacrosse).....Jayco is a good company I guess...he has had same issues we all do so I dont feel they are any better or worse than another...

Im looking at xlr and prime time 5er th as my next units...there are several nice ones out there depending on what exact features u want

Jaco used to make great products, very well made. The always seemed to have just a little hogher standards and added features. I don't know now as it has been a while since I looked at any Jayco. What I do know is Jayco is a family owned company. I would think attention to QA would be better in this case.

FWIW we owned a Jayco Eagle TT from 2008 to 2012 and had no problems with it. They're a family owned RV manufacturer that hasn't been gobbled up by the huge corporations.

thx....I like family owned...

Just trying to figure out on bumper pull or 5th....Got my reasons for both.

bumper pull = topper on my truck & lots more storage... also, then I can't take my 4 wheeler on day trips without dragging the whole show....wheeler won't fit under the topper.

5th...no problem with 4 wheeler day trips... whole show tows better.

just a couple of my thoughts...
