Look for a square flip up door with coax connectors in it. If there are two connectors one is for cable and the other is for Satellite.

The Satellite is a "home run" cable to a wall pad. The CABLE one goes to the back of the roof AMP wall plate. To enable the cable to work, you have to turn off the amp. (Green light out).

the only thing i have on the side of the trailer is the power cable and the water connection so i am assuming my trailer is not prewired for cable hook up. I guess i should have looked a little more closely before i purchased it.

Do you have a roof antenna and a powered amp plate?

The rear of the amp has three downward pointed coax connectors. The center one is the cable TV input. Make sure there is a cable there. If not you can add one. It is selected by pressing the little button and turning off the green light.

You can run a cable from that center connection to a convenient spot outside the camper and mount a waterproof box there. Winegard sells them or you can buy one at an RV store.

My cable hookup is just a coaxial connection covered by a rubber plug, with about a 2" round plastic frame around it.

I have a 2011 Wildwood Heritage Glenn and my connections are on the back of th trailer rather than near my water/ elec hookups.
