A Hollywood Movie Was Made In Northern VA

Yes, that's right movie producer Mr. Michael Bay was at the Smithsonian's National Air And Space Museum Steven F. Udvar Hazy Center in Chantilly VA. In the first week of June to film part of his new movie "Transformers II" along with Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks. From what I understand when the movie is complete, there will be premier showing in the Imax theater at the Hazy Center. There was no public announcement of this great event, the only ones that knew what was going on were the people that had visted the Museum on the days of the filming.

Did you get to go see them work? They filmed for several days in our town for the movie Seabiscuit. I actually worked on the set and had a lot of fun. Tobey was a really nice guy...down to Earth.

Yes I did, but most of the special effects filming was during the time when the Museum was closed.
