I'm on my 4 the camper, 2nd new, 1st Forest River. Every one of them have had some kind of issue from time to time. So far, on my 2014 Windjammer, the only issues have been defective Trail Express tires, a defective LED bulb, and a screen door that needed a latching adjustment. I would say I am one of the fortunate ones. We love our Windjammer. Hope it holds up. I have had very good success with 2 Jaycos.

On our second Forest River RV. We would not own any other brand.

(I'm with OC though--next camper we buy is going to be ordered with the self-cleaning option! )

Zolin,
We feel the same about our 2013 Windjammer. A couple of small problems and then there are the Trail Express tires!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that what kids are for? My kids help me wash mine. The bottom 2' of the trailer doesn't have a speck of dirt.

Less happy today, found out the front cap is still getting water in it and found another leaky window.

Cant say just yet....but I hope so....We have been searching around for quite a while for a replacement Hybrid, and have been amazed at the cheap construction quality of most we looked at. The FR HTT owners we have met praise theirs and...as the old tune goes..." just one look, that's all it took"...
Some research in here I see 89.5% would buy again
I still have questions and concerns but not enough to stop me from putting a deposit down....

Our last 3 trailers have been Forest Rivers. They are at least as good as the competition within whatever price bracket you are looking at. We still have our 2013 Columbus and are really happy with it. Great quality. Only problem we really had with it was that both A/C's didn't work right from the start, but that was a Dometic problem. FR Palomino Columbus swapped them out at the factory during our Goshen rally 2 years ago. Love this trailer. Nothing but good things to say about Forest River!

Just bought a RW Roo 21RS. Was looking either for a small cheap new or 1 or 2 year old used Rockwood. Found this unit (2011) on our dealers lot still new and with full warranty. It was approximately $11,500 cheaper at least than the other RW units we were considering. We would only have bought a Forest River. Looked at other brands for comparison only.

Congrats and good luck with your new trailer!!

I just got my Windjammer out of the dealer who has five locations in several states. They do a large volume of repair work and said ALL brands have issues, they could not recommend one manufacturer over another. These were the mechanics who had no sales agenda.
