I must say that we have had some issues with our 2014 Cedar Creek 38CK, but with the assistance of Henry Sears at Forest River and the great service tech that we have been dealing with at Long View in CT, many issues have been resolved. Now I have a issue with the Residential style KitchenAid refrigerator. I sent a Email to Henry at Cedar Creek Warranty dept, and I got a call the next day from a authorized appliance repair facility. They are coming out to my house on Monday! Again I have nothing but praises for all of those that have helped us in remediating issues that we had. Thank you Henry Sears at Cedar Creek; Joe, the service manager at Long View; and Jay, the very capable service tech for Long View. Jay even made house calls on two occasions to resolve issues that we have had. Nothing but high marks for Cedar Creek and Longview RV in CT. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Forest River, you should be proud of your Warranty Department in the way they handle issues. They go a long way to ensure customer satisfaction!

Here's the problem. You had a great experience, my warranty administrator bailed out on me, and supposedly my dealer. I went over his head, and got no response.

There doesn't seem to be a set of checks and balances at Forest River. The right hand has no idea what the left is doing. Some of them are good, some suck.

And those that suck are ruining the company reputation.

If you've been waiting a year, it sounds like you have a dealer issue. They could have one tomorrow if they really wanted to. Sounds like they're just waiting for you to give up. I'd bet if you called FR directly, there's no order for a door.

I have found that most issues with warranty do not start with the dealer but with the manufacture . and forest river does not have a good rep with warranty work and dealers . they just do not want to pay and i can't blame dealers for not wanting to do warranty work on them . even the techs end up losing money when working on FR stuff same with most other manufactures . winnebago is the worst

I bet Keystone could give them a run for their money in the crappy customer service department, although in about the last 6 months Keystone has apparently opened their eyes a little to the multitudes of bad reviews and complaints. My experience with FR is limited to Palomino 5 or 6 years ago but that was all good. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this new Roo. It sure seems that the difference in service and support can be night and day different though between divisions based on some of the posts here, so are we talking apples to apples when people say F.R.?

Now keep in mind that it seems that each division of Forest River has their own warranty depth / rep. My experience has been with Cedar Creek and I have high praises for them. I have had a Palimino in the past and warranty service was ok, but my feeling is Cedar Creek has been great.

Happy Customer

As others have said some of the issues are the components that FR installs in the RV units. Hard to give them a hard time if the Microwave or Ref. is not working...from where I sit we bought as brand new Legacy this past July. Drove it over 6000 miles so far and love it...a few small items that the factory paid my local shop to repair and some i could do on my own...

+1 I'm very happy with the warranty support on the Class C side. I have not heard a single push back from FR even on touching up the full body paint.

I'll add I have an outstanding dealer, Three Way Campers in Marietta, GA, who is very concerned about their Customer's satisfaction. Every issue on our coach, both on the FR side and the Mercedes side, has been handled promptly and addressed the first time. No blame games, no excuses, fast service...your dealer is a very big part of your warranty experience.

Nothing but problems with my 2015 295RSX, total days camping maybe 30, time in for repair 3 months. Love the lay out and features, total crap quality control. It's now been in for service for 3 weeks for a leaking bedroom slide ,floating/buckled floor, sliding bathroom door that fell off it's rail(cheap door, the 6 screws holding it literally ripped out).
