Have owned three campers, all different manufactures, they are all 100% built the same unless you get into the higher end units.

Forrest River now, happy with it, not without issues just like the rest, fix 90% myself.

But it's hard.
My fifth went to the dealer in September for a list of repairs from the pdi. I bought the trailer new, a couple weeks before.

I had about a page of repairs to do.

I have been in contact over the winter, and they always said, waiting on parts.

I picked it up today. 3 things were completed, and that's just because no parts were needed for those repairs.

I start the dewinterizing.
Running water into sinks and such.
Go to the outdoor kitchen, run the taps for a bit, then I see water, dripping from the bottom of the trailer.
Start opening hatches and what do I see.

Attachment 107435
Bunk is flooded. I reattach.
Run the slide in.. It pops off.
Reattach. Run the slide out. It pops off. Yay.
I'm camping this weekend, then back to the dealer!

Check out the sweet cuts the factory made!! Attachment 107436

I think my 4 year old could cut better.

Take a look at what I posted yesterday:

Mini Lite 2503S kitchen drain broke

Check that your white "slip joint nut" isn't cracked.

We are on our second Forest River product . The first one a trailer and upgraded to a fifth wheel after a year and a half . Hopefully will be upgrading to a Wildcat at the end of the year . Very happy with their products.

Unscrew the white nut, push it down all the way onto the grey part of the flexaust hose (up against where the FleXaust sticker is), insert the grey part into the black permanent pipe until the white nut is against the threads of the black pipe and screw the nut down as tightly as you can. If you look at my pics, my hose also had a clamp a few inches from the connection. I don't see that yours has any clamps on the hose. If you can install one, that might help. Seems like these need a "strain relief."

You will see the same people constantly complaining about something. So if you add up all their complaining and count as one, the rate lowers significantly.

I generally ignore those folks. I am on my third FR and am a very happy camper. Do things go wrong? Sure, but I've worked with FR on some of them and am gratified by their willingness to help.

Enjoy your Roo!

We are happy with our 2012 silverback 29re. Things have needed attending to but I did all myself. People need to remember the if you shook you house for 12 hours I bet something would come loose or need repairs. Traveling with your trailer is like put it through and earth quake ever trip
