Awning "Rope Lights" $9.95
Camping World sells rope lights $20 and up.
Home Depot has an 18' length for $9.95 and a 24' for $14.95. 
Indoor/Outdoor, 54 watts and 1 bulb per inch. Find them back between the ceiling fans and lighting. I hooked them up to my homemade dimmer box and they work great!
There's always a bargain out there. Glad I waited to get mine!

Yes there is a place with no Home Depot. Where I live, we are so far back in the woods that we have to hunt towards town.
The nearest HD is 40 miles. It is now, with the price of gas, about as cheap (?) to buy at the local hardware.
Glad to hear lots of you have Home Depot and Lowe's
