Do we have to take our camper back to the dealer we bought it from?

No. But if warranty repair some dealers may not work on it or may put you on the bottom of the list, it is up to the dealers

Take it to a certified independent. That's what we did for warranty work. No waiting weeks or months. No hassles with dealers.
