my '06 chev pick-up was assembled in Pontiac, Mi., '08 Taurus in Chicago. Last week there was an item on the internet about the top ten cars with U. S. made content. No, 1 was the Toyota Avalon. If I remember correctly, GM had their large van and one Buick product on the list, Ford had a Lincoln suv, and rest were foreign.
