Got a tow notice today
Got a tow notice today for vehicle litter! We have been parking our 34' TT in our driveway all summer and decided to leave it parked in the driveway for the winter. I've got ten days to move it. Only problem is that the streets are snow and ice covered.

Can they do that if it has a valid license plate on it ? I think that is terrible.

At the risk of sounding silly, what is the definition of "vehicle littering" where you live? I've heard of getting tickets for violating zoning ordinances by parking your RV on your property, but this is a new one to me.

Ditto.
The town I used to live in several years ago was considering an ordinance banning RVs in driveways. That's when we started looking for another place to live. Just so happens that before the ordinance was up for a vote the mayor of said town was partners in a new mini storage with RV parking.............. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.................. The ordinance never passed and that yahoo was not re-elected. We still moved though. Got me a nice 1 acre lot that I can put whatever I want on it.

Take a ride around town and see how many others got notices or is the neighbor mad at you? Ask around,go to the court house and read the ordinance and see how much time you have... be reactive

Omaha has a Mayor's hotline which allows anonymous complaints. I have 10 days to move it, only problem every direction out of the area is uphill and the streets are snow packed and icy. Left 100's of messages, only got one call back from the planning board, we are in violation, but since we live on a corner lot I can park it in the side yard and be legal. Found a couple of storage facilities with space available. Still need some leaway on the 10 days though. I'll give the mayor's hotline a call tomorrow and see what they can do for me. I was told by the planning board that they or OPD never enforce the ordinance. Only when it gets called into the hotline.

The specific violation is vehicle litter right? I betcha one call or letter from your legal counsel would clear this matter up. The municipal code for Omaha states as definition:
Sec. 18-21. Definitions.
For the purposes of this article, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them:
Litter: Includes the following:
(1) Trash, rubbish, refuse, garbage, paper, rags, ashes, grain, and cobs.
(2) Wooden, plaster, cement, brick or stone building rubble.
(3) Grass, leaves, and worthless vegetation.
(4) Offal and dead animals.
(5) Any machine or machines, vehicle or vehicles or parts thereof which have lost their identity, character, utility or serviceability as such through deterioration, dismantling or the ravages of time; are inoperative or unable to perform their intended functions; or are cast off, discarded or thrown away or left as waste, wreckage or junk.
Ya gotta love the internet.
The bottom line is there is no way your travel trailer can meet this definition so long as it is in good repair and is servicable.
