I did not look at the list when I posted the link. If anyone goes to the show looking for a dealership to buy from I would recommend Tom Schaeffers. That is who I dealt with. If John Chehovich is there, he is the salesman to talk to. We bought our first used pop up from him and we bought our current camper from him also. Extremely happy with him both times.

You know going to the RV show could be harmful to your pocketbook.

Well our pocketbook was damaged last sept in hershey when we bought our trailer. This is my opinion but the harrisburg show is just for new purchases only. There wasn't many vendors for campgrounds. I guess I got spoiled with the hershey show. I'm half afraid what the york show is going to be like.

May I ask what you mean by your pocketbook was damaged in Hershey last year? We also have a story connected to the Hershey RV show.

We bought a travel trailer there. I guess we weren't expecting to spend that kind of money. We had no idea. I'm anticipating spring time to use use our new camper. Hershey is a huge show we went there to look at campers , it took us 2 days to make a decision. I want to go next year to learn more about the camping experience and learn more with the "mechanics".

Our experience with the Hershey show was a lesson learned. The lesson we learned was do not go to an RV show on the other side of the state and buy a camper at the show from a dealer out of New York when you live in Southwestern PA. Things would have been fine had not the trailer been a lemon. With in 6 months of ownership the TV had to be replaced, the hot water tank burn up, the microwave broke, the window seal in the front of the trailer were our bedroom was flooded the bedroom on Memorial Day in a strong thunderstorm, and every time we had to get something fixed we had to drive Akron Ohio to Camping World to have the repairs done. We felt like we spent the first part of our summer traveling back and forth from south of Pittsburgh to Akron Ohio.. We had everything taken care of and on the 4th of July at our resort by pymatuning Lake the motor blew on the awning. The final straw with that trailer was when I discovered a water line 3 inches up the wall under the dinette where the wheel wells had been leaking everytime we pulled it in the rain. We ended up taking it to a local dealer and trading it in on a coachman and taking about an $8,000 loss on it when I traded it in. We just went to the pittsburgh RV show in January and bought a Windjammer 3008 which we cannot wait for the weather to get better so that we can get out in the trailer, at least now if I have a problem I've got a local dealer that I bought from this time.

I know exactly how you feel
Our two previous rv's were junk . They weren't Forest River. We bought a 2015 windjammer 3008 in October and love it. We have had no problems at all with it. Can't wait for spring to start camping. Good luck with your windjammer.

I sure am glad to hear that because that is what we bought 2015 Windjammer 3008. And like you were just dying to get this thing out on its maiden voyage. The camper that we boarded Harrisburg wasn't Forest River either it was a crossroads.

We are recent transplants so I doubt we know each other. We really like it here.

We were pretty disappointed with the Harrisburg show. Not many campgrounds at all, very few accessories. A fair number of rvs but not what we were expecting. York show is much better in all of these. I don't think you'd be disappointed. It may not be hershey but it's a lot better than Harrisburg.

We might try the York show in 2
Weeks. I don't think we will have time this weekend for the Oaks show at Valley Forge.
