Honda generator recall

I received this e-mail Fleet Farm:

Dear Fleet Farm Customer,

We have been notified by AMERICAN HONDA that there may be a safety issue concerning several models of portable inverter generators.

The models and serial number ranges are listed below.

The inverter generators output 2200 watts and have a red outer casing with a black front plate. A picture is below.

If you have one of these generator inverters, DO NOT USE IT, until you have been contacted by American Honda and had the inverter generator repaired.

If you have registered your inverter generator with American Honda, you will be receiving a separate notice from them.

If you purchased one from us, or from anyone else, for information on how American Honda will correct the issue, do one of the following:

· Contact American Honda Customer Relations Department at 770-497-6400 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST Monday through Friday,
or
· Monitor American Honda's website
· Monitor your mail for an official notice from American Honda

Your safety is our priority. If, after contacting them, you do not feel American Honda is adequately handling the matter, let me know by emailing Corporateinfo@fleetfarm.com.
