So here's a little explanation. The ancient Greeks felt pressure in their lives which was inflicted by their Gods, there were some who wanted to "get away" from this pressure and as such wanted to attain a mental state of ataraxia. So for us our desire is to get away from the modern "gods" that eat away at our sanity; work, bosses, alarm clocks, telephones, etc. To us jumping in the MH then gives us the tranquility of Ataraxia :-)

"Ataraxia"...sounds like an affliction!!!! .. Oh, wait!! .. camping IS an affliction!

We have a very unique name. Since we live in a neighborhood where the bylaws don't allow parking/storage of trailers etc., we store ours in another location. So, when it gets close to the time to bring it home to load for a trip the DW says "when are you going to get "The Trailer?""

Trailer Name

We call our Wildwood the Wildwood Motel since we use it when visiting friends and family instead of a motel or hotel.

I just Purchased my first toyhauler and plan on using my the tools from my "other business" Vinyl Graphics to add some graphics as well as possibly the name I come up with for the trailer. Is this something that others would be interested in?

The 5er = Sled
The truck = Money Pit (because of the 6.0 issues)
ATV = Hog (for its size, it sucks gas)

I would be interested. However, I need to get my DW to tell me what name I like. She is still trying to make up my mind.

Terier the options are limitless but here are some ideas with your trailers name not knowing what your color scheme is I just used some common colors with a brush font.

We have a 2007 Georgetown 315. It is known as "The Georgetown"
or "G-Town". In John Steinbeck's. "Travels with Charley" ; a must read for all RVers, he calls his truck camper "Rocinante", the name of Don Quixote's horse.

I wanted to name ours according to what is on the front of it...but my DW wants something else. You have to look at my signature to really figure it out.....

I like the idea and samples - thanks! It took months to even put a single screw hole in the wall to hang the clock so I don't know when I would be able to add lettering to the outside yet. In the meantime I opted for personalize plate with "Plucky 8". If you are wondering why "plucky" it just describes my solo RV journey.

Thanks again for the idea,
Terie

PS
Could add it to the propane tank cover....

We have not named our new Wildcat yet, but our old Surveyor we use to call the "Rainmaker". Obvious reason--everytime we took her out it rained!

My wife named our fifth wheel 'The Mistress' because I was spending so much time with it when we got it last year. The name stuck. Unfortunately it gets difficult to explain when my 4 year old talks about camping with daddy and the mistress... at church.

Since I am having to rebuild two of the rotted walls in
my new - to me - Cherokee without even getting to
use it yet, I have thought of naming it:

Really Rotten Ralph
or
Mega-Moldy Molly

The other names cannot be put in print!

[sigh]

cheers,
johnd

Medical research shows that men have a "biological clock" too. The older we get, the greater the NEED to drive a TRUCK!
