Naming your trailer.

Folks name their boats, cars, and other inanimate objects. I don't know why, but my wife and I are having a hard time coming up with a name for our escape from reality. It needs to be something that is catchy, yet simple. Something that simultaneously evokes a sense of carefree adventure, and serenity from the grind of life.
What have you guys named your trailers?

I think we went through this about 2 years ago. Can't find the thread right now, and is late on the east coast. Will try and fine in the afternoon, since it is morning here already.

After having a larger 5th wheel & one ton tow vehicle we downsized to our "Little One" - the one you see in our signature.

I call mine "money Pitt" I even tried to get a tag for it that said it. The tag agent said it was already taken along with all variations. Must be common.

Upon trailering our Surveyor home from the dealer our neighbour came across the road and asked why our trailer said "Survivor" (like the TV show) on it. Apparently, the lettering looks like that from across the road. Ever since then we jokingly call it the Survivor.

We've nicknamed ours, "CampeRoo".
The DW and her siblings had always used "roo" after their names with each other, since they were kids.

I never felt the need to name our campers. But now we have an RV and I do feel like it should have a name, but I haven't thought of anything cunning.

Our pop ups name is 'ittle dew. A play on words for its little size, the dew that can come with tent trailers if not ventilated properly and the fact that for now, it will do.

We sure do love that thing and are already going through the winter withdrawal from camping. It's gonna be a long winter.

Naming our Sunseeker was important to us as a family. I wanted a fitting name and spent several months researching. We finally settled on: "Ataraxia" ok im sure you all just went - huh?
So here's a little explanation. The ancient Greeks felt pressure in their lives which was inflicted by their Gods, there were some who wanted to "get away" from this pressure and as such wanted to attain a mental state of ataraxia. So for us our desire is to get away from the modern "gods" that eat away at our sanity; work, bosses, alarm clocks, telephones, etc. To us jumping in the MH then gives us the tranquility of Ataraxia :-)

I came across the word "Plucky" and thought it described my RV journey based on so many people comments when I brought my travel trailer.

I haven't been able to commit using Plucky as a name for the trailer but did use it on the license plate as a compromise.

My DW named our Windjammer "Wendy"... She also named our Ram TRX "Rex".. so now it's Steve, Lauren, Rex and Wendy on the road.

My wife calls my FEMA/hunting camp the white house because it was public housing. I call it the testostercamper and sometimes the mobile man cave (MMC).
