Not such thing, unfortunately. If you bought it new, the dealer should have done a PDI with you to show you how everything works. If he didn't, shame on him. If you bought it from a private party, you should have had that person do the same. Maybe you still can?

You can try posting specific questions regarding a specific item. If so, make sure you state make and model; someone with your unit will probably help you.

See post #4 in the thread below for links to lots of info newbies should know.

Yep, generic owners manual are the norm in the RV Industry.
Only thing specific are the individual manuals for things like fridge, furnace, stereo, a/c, oven and so on.

We bought it used- the owner of the RV Park showed it to us, the owner of the RV worked 2nd shift and weekends so we weren’t able to have him walk is through.
Thanks I’ll look for the post you recommended

Remember, though, most of what you have in your RV was made by someone other than Forest River. I found the model and serial number for all my components and then searched the Internet for operator manuals. Even items like your water pump, jacks etc typically have downloadable operator manuals. As for Forest River specific you already found the best source - this forum.

Your fellow RVs on this forum are very helpful.

Operation manuals or lack there of, is one of the weakest points in the RV industry. Check out the videos and resources mentioned in this thread. Dont be embarrassed to talk to and ask questions of neighbors at RV parks. Most people are happy to share their knowledge and experiences. Try to attend a FROG rally. In short order you will be an experienced camper too.
