Parts

Why does it take 4 to 5 weeks for the dealer to get parts from forest river? When I can get them over night from the supplier ?

If that's what the dealer is saying, suggest that you call FR parts dept. and verify that the dealer actually placed the order.
Many dealers delay the order until they get enough to save on shipping costs.
They put the blame on the manufacturer so the customer doesn't get mad at them.

Very common tactic.

I agree!
Might want to be asking your dealer that question.
I needed a factory part and my dealer got it in two days.

I'm not saying FR doesn't drop the ball at times but more often than not, it has been reported to be a dealer problem.

Ive been to the part of the Cherokee plant where they ship parts a few times and the girls that make up the orders and box them are not the problem. They never sit down or walk! Always running around with boxes or parts.

Most likely they are pooling up orders until it's worth shipping and also save you shipping costs. That's what our dealer does. If you want it right away, be sure to tell them but be prepared to pay for shipping at the speed you want. If you want overnight, you will pay the FedEx.
