Pick-up at RVW

We picked up our 2008 Rockwood 2605 last Thursday at RVW in Lakeview Ohio. Really love the trailer...

Some of the changes we've noted with the 8' wide:
Kitchen countertop and cupboards now about 6" wider,
Cabinet oak fronts are now veneer (still some solid oak on kitchen drawer fronts and cabinets over sofa and bed),
Bathroom is a bit wider...faucet/sink are still sideways.

It's our first TT...seems very roomy for the two of us.

We'll post some interior pictures soon.

BTW, crossing the border into Canada was a piece of cake as we had the proper documentation. Arranging insurance before picking it up was another story!

Congrats on the new TT.......From what I have read and heard about importing form the US, it does sound pretty easy.

I know the prices at RVW are unbeatable from our dealers in Canada, but were you able to get a better price from their advertised price or any freebies thrown in?

We are looking at the 83177SS from RVW but need to sell our TT first.

Don't know if the prices are negotiable or if freebies can be had...didn't try for either. We thought that we were making out like bandits and left it at that.

What part of Hamilton are you from...we're probably neighbors!

I don't blame you on the not negotiating on the price. Compared to the prices here, we will be saving about 7-10 thousand on the price of the 83177. Already priced them and did all the numbers.

If I was your neighbor, you would have seen the ROO in the driveway most of the summer when not used.......LOL.

We are on the West Mountain, Upp Paradise and Rymal.....How about You?

We're not that far away, East Mountain, Fennel and Upper Gage. We'll have to explain to our forum friends whats it like living at this elevation.

Good luck with selling the trailer.
