Turns out they were right. They sold eleven that week, including all of the ones we were interested in. And when we got back the next weekend were shocked at the volume they were moving. We went many places and this was the norm. The industry seems to be doing well from where I sit.
Then it wasnt meant to be! The unit you could have bought today that sold yesterday is somebody's warranty claim tomorrow.
Yours is out there some where so dont settle for less! Happy hunting

That's exactly my mentality.i try not to tempt fate... We did indeed save several thousand dollars on an identical unit.

This spring we went to a local RV dealer to purchase a couple little things, when we were checking out I as the girl at the counter how their open house went the week before. She said that they had sold over 50 NEW units and had no idea how many used ones they sold. I couldn't believe it, considering that the dealership is a small mom and pa type places it has a total of 8 employees (2 sales including the owner, 4 service, and 2 counter girls). I just went past this past week and their lot which is about 6-8 acres must only have 20-30 new and used campers on it where it use to have 120+.

The problem with waiting is "time & age". Do it now, enjoy it while you can and "getter done" . Fuel prices have been holding, economy us up and people are happier then they have been in years. Why wait til the season is over. There us no better time then right now.
I toured Rockwoods plant in December. They were at max capacity building 97 a day with no let up. Ours just arrived on Tuesday and we are elated!
