Just wondering if I should trust FR to notify me and if my 2017 Forester 3051 with that awning is included in the recall.
Do you know a range of manufacturing dates for the awnings or build dates for the vehicles? TIA.

This is for the Smart Arm version. The one with the keypad on the forward arm. Water gets into the controller due to lack of proper sealing. The solution is to seal the wires into the connector with silicon sealant.

It's been talked about quite a bit a while ago. May not have been a recall originally.
