Wildwood Refrigerator Recall Info

My 2004 Wildwood 26 ft BHSS Camper burned to the ground yesterday and I am just sick about it! I bought it used 5 years ago and loved it! I have had several fellow campers tell me that there was a recall years ago on these campers because of a faulty Refrigerator set up where it was leaking ammonia and exploding!! Can anyone give me any answers on why this would happen and should I have known about it? Thank God no body was in it at the time! It is totally gone to ashes along with everything that I had in it! Thank You for any insight!

There was a recall on fridges about that year range (ours was an '06) where they installed a shield around the burner/heating element assembly. I can't remember the exact verbiage of the recall, but I bet it's posted somewhere here.
