Wonder when Forest River will offer the RUV like Thor?
Thor Motor Coach just released a new entry level segment of motorhomes called the RUV according RV Business magazine this week. I wonder if Forest River has one in the works???

Supposedly the price.
Quote:
RUV Vegas “The new line-up of RUV is sized like a large SUV, and most importantly they are priced like one. A family can own one with payments that are less than most sport utility vehicles,” said Dana Simon, vice president of sales and marketing at Thor Motor Coach. “We see this unit fulfilling a need those who are new to RV’ing, those who are seasoned veterans looking to downsize and anything in between. The RUV product segment is going to grow as it answers questions concerning affordability and size some consumers may have with traditional larger motorhomes.”

Must have been quite an option package to have an MSRP of $96,183. That's 26K more than Thor's stated MSRP of 69,999.

Agreed. I'm wondering if they jacked the price because it was the first one sold. I'm hoping the future MSRP is $70.000 so it will end up selling for around $50,000 as that would be tempting to purchase. Otherwise it's not any cheaper than others on the market.

Well when it was first announced and it seemed the pricing on this e350 chassis based motorhome might have been in the low 50s based on a 69,999 msrp, it caught my attention. With the MSRP in the 90s however, I am not impressed. Too many alternatives out there with better value.

If actual pricing would have been in the low to mid 50's I would have been interested, but with their current pricing it's not a game changer as the FR3 or Ace are similar price points with more options. Don't see the value in the RUV any longer.
