21 TQX Bunk Bent - Fix?

Hello,

First post here on FR Forums!

We purchased a Freedom Express 21TQX from auction knowing there was some damage on one of the bunks. Opening it up upon further inspection it looks like the damage is just beyond the hinge... I haven't disassembled to see the root cause yet, but I suspect somewhere on the bunk frame that the frame (likely aluminum) had some welds fail.

The failure has allowed the bunk to move out 1/4 of an inch, causing it to bind on the lip of the trailer, so it does not seal at all.

Has anyone run into something similar? If so, what was the route you took for fixing?
