anybody out there with a surveyor

Will be taking delivery of a 2007 Surveyor SV 210T tomorrow. We never owned a trailer so we are extremely new to this. Any tips on what to expect would be appreciated. We will be camping in Pennsylvania and New York this summer to get our feet wet.

to FRF!!

do a search for PDI (pre-delivery inspection), print out a list and take it with you and go over the rig thoroughly
take a flashlight and a camera with you and document anything you find wrong and make sure you get it taken care of quickly (preferably before driving off the lot with it)

Congrats and enjoy!!

check out the hybrid forum at rv.net. there are quite a few Surveyor owners there. if they had a floorplan we liked, we would have bought a Surveyor.

Kool! Congrats on the rig! Nothing like that first night in your new rig is there? We camped in our back yard and still do. My 2 little ladies love it! Sometimes when we have a friend or 2 of theirs over it's a treat for them to camp in the back yard.

Post some pics when you get a chance and hang out here as well!! rv.net has good info but we've got GREAT people. ALL RVs are pretty much the same when it boils down to it. Floor plans are different but the appliences are all similar and the way they function is similar as well..

Pull up a chair and your PC and hang out and become part of our growing community of RV'rs!!

We just purchased a Surveyor 233T and we're picking it up next week.

I'll keep you posted on how it is to tow, as I have a new tow vehicle and previously pulled a popup.
