I upgraded to dual grp 24 batteries and bought a Honda 2000 wt genny. Per the great advice from BikenDan I should need to charge every other day unless it gets really cold and we need to run furnace a lot, then perhaps charge every day. I have a volt meter and will play it by ear. I got a portable grey water tank for the bed of my truck and a pump to move grey water to it. (could also drag it behind the truck is I have too). Also a portable 5 gal tank to replace the fresh. Will not use black tank except liquids in the middle of the night. Plan to use campground restrooms and shower house. They also have a dish washing station so all in all, minimal water usage I hope.
By the way, that one CG with electricity - Fishing Bridge - does not allow soft sided campers due to bear issues. We are staying only 2 miles away at Bridge Bay for 7 days (with 1 trailer and 2 tents having a family reunion with our kids and grand kids who live in various states) so I hope they have the bears trained to stay in their own CG.
You bet lots of warm clothes. The last time I was in YS in July we got 6 inches of snow overnight. Pretty much collapsed our tent. Luckily I was young and didn't care too much. Now I will just turn up the heat and roll over. Oh yea, got PUGs and Reflectex too.
