Edges of expanded beds 24ws

We are new owners of a Shamrock 24ws, and during our first few weeks of use, I had a rude awakening with the edge of the expanded bed.
The exterior edge is the exact height of my nose. I was rounding the corner, glanced down for a second, looked up, and suddenly required several stitched on the bridge of my nose.
I am hoping that there is some product out there that I can use to cover the sharp edges of the expanded beds so that this canít happen to anyone else.
It would have to be removable so the seal will function when the beds are closed and locked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
P.S. there was no alcohol involved!

Try cutting a pool noodle to fit or 1" foam pipe insulation and cut it on a 45 degree angle to meet at the corners.
