Extended Warranty for expandable?

Who paid for an extended warranty? Is it worth it for a Rockwood Roo?
How much? What company is good for an extended warranty?

I got the extra 1 year direct from Forest River for $150, I figured it was worth it - if one large 'something' goes wrong after the standard one year - it will have paid for itself.

I have made worse investment before.

Please note that you have to get it within 10 days of taking delivery.

our FR factory 2nd year only cost us $100, back in 2006.

i would never pay for a non-factory extended warranty.
they are ripoffs and too expensive.

paying an extra $100-$150 for a 2nd year factory tongue to bumper warranty is a no-brainer.

but a third party extended warranty is a waste of money, since most of the expensive things(like a/c, stove, awning, canvas, rubber roof)have their own separate factory warranties.

Just sent in our hybrid fiver extended warranty. Used the one on the other fiver in the second year and it feels good to know it is there when needed.
We agree about 2nd party warranties-expensive and a waste of time and effort when you want to have it applied. Get it all fixed in the first 2 years.

Guess we are alone here as we got the extended warrenty on this htt as well as we had it on the last tt. We used it instead of the reg warrenty as they would come to you for less than the gas to take it to them. We feel it was well worth it and not at all sorry we got it.

I don't remember just now and that paper work is either in the camper or DH put it elsewhere. I will find out and let you know.
