finally going camping!!!

well, after a number of medical issues for the DW, she's finally well enough for us to go camping.
we'll be camping on the beach, south of Santa Barbara all next week.

normally, we would have had at least a couple of camping trips under our belts by now. been really hard since we've had such excellent weather this year.
if the DW had been healthier, this great weather would had us taking about 5 camping trips so far.

but just glad she's on the mend and we can get back to camping. we'll be with members of her family down from wet Washington State, looking for sunshine.

Great pics! Which campground did you stay at? Is it Refugio SB? Maybe not because it looks different than I remember.

Did you get rain last Sunday? San Clemente got it good and it was a cold rain too.

no, it's Carpinteria State Beach, south of Santa Barbara.
yes, it poured Sunday nite but it was dry when we arrived in the afternoon. was able to get all set up before the rain hit.
