Double Bubble Insulation - Ecofoil Reflective Bubble Insulation

So you have the gizomo's AND you use the Eco foil? Where do you use the Eco foil? I made some cheap Gizmo's out of Reflectix. The Eco foil looks like a similar product.

I have the Gizzmo's that I bought for my Popup, I use them on my Hybrid now. They are a little longer (King vs Queen) but the fact that they do wrap around the end a little is OK, it adds a little more darkness.

Another nice thing about teh Gizzmo's is that any tree sap, leaves, or bird droppings fall on it, so when your done camping and you take them down, you can just hose them off at the Car Wash or in your driveway. Your canvas stays clean!

That is the main reason I want them is to protect the canvas.

Many use the reflectix or ecofoil material to make inserts that gets placed between the screen and zipped portion of the bunk ends. It gives some additional insulation properties to the bunk ends. Also helps some with the darkness.
With pugs on the top and reflectix in the three "window" sections of the bunk ends, there is significant improvement in keeping it cool or warmer.

Here is a pic of ours this spring with the reflectix panels and the pugs
I used kraft paper to make templates of the window sections, then cut out the reflectix to match.

No problem, Vin. That's what the forum is for. I was asking similar questions about this time last year in anticipation of our Roo purchase.

I'm a bit leery of doing that. Worried that the aluminum would eventually rub off on the vinyl. Your ecofoil would be better for that use though. Do you think its helps much?
