First trip of the year

Well, the first trip of the year is in the books. Waited 7 long monts for this, and it was worth it. Too bad work gets in the way. Big crew this time, whole family plus 2. We actually took up 2 sites this time. Weather couldn't have been better, or hotter for us coastal types. My youngest son was taken down by the heat. I has to get him down to the river to dunk his head, and considering the river (Similkameen) was still high with snowmelt, it was surprisingly warm.
Sadly, the weekends are seemingly so full of other things this year, it doesn't appear we will get to camp as much as we would normally do, so we will make the best of what we get, right?

Great pictures! Sounds like great family & friends time. Hopefully you will be able to get out more often but as you said we make the most of what we have to work with.

Amazing pix, makes me wish I could travel further north.....

You have figured out the key to happiness ~ be thankful for what you have and make the best of it. Your time with the kiddos is shorter than you think, so just enjoy where you are

Happy Camping!
