your 2010 should have all the changes already. the kits are for older models of Rockwood Roos/Shamrocks.

Hi everyone,
I realize this is a very old thread, but I found it while researching the Shamrock 25bh we jut purchased. It, too, has a leaky bed and the original owner used duct tape to prevent leaking while it was not in use, so everything is still in decent shape.

Since we plan to use this camper on a very regular basis, I'd like to fix the leaking to save on duct tape and further damage.

I'm hoping all of you will see this reply and be able to offer some wonderful hindsight.

Is the repair kit (which is no longer free from the dealer, just my luck) worth installing? Or should be consider other options?

Definitely helped with our leaking issues. Contact Gregg Rollins at Forest River: grollins@forestriverinc.com and see what he can do. I didn't get the repair kit from the dealer, instead I contacted Gregg directly free of charge.

thank you!

Thanks so much for your time!

I just dropped an email to Gregg at Forest River. Fingers crossed that he's still there to get it.

Are you still camping in your 25bh? As a family that seems to find folly in everything we do, any other insight would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, still camping in the 25BH. So far it's been doing pretty well; no issues. May need to do a total re-chaulking of it this year and greasing the wheel bearings but other then that so far so good.

Good luck with Forest River. Let me know if Gregg is able to hook you up with the repair kit.

R/Tom

i don't think you'll be able to get it free now but i'm pretty sure they still have it and you should be able to purchase it.
i had mine done under warranty with the same kit and a new door, even though i didn't need the door, back in 2009.

I just picked up my 224t 3 weeks ago and putting it in the shop Saturday because all 3 popouts leak open and closed. I've taken it out 2 weekends and love it besides that fact.
