We have a 3/4 ton ram with the 5.7 hemi. It pulled our windjammer over the smoky mountains without a bit of strain. We love our ram. Good luck with yours.

Beautiful truck. In February, 2014 we bought a RAM 1500 for $27,400 through Consumer Reports Car Buying service. We love it! It has the tow package and the Pentastar V6. It tows our 27' 2015 Wildwood easily. We live in the Tampa Bay region of Florida and towed all throughout Wisconsin and the Adirondack mountains in New York as well as all over the South East. The Pentastar is awesome. Towing we usually get between 13 and 14 MPG. Last year we took a trip to North Carolina without our trailer and managed 30.4 MPG although around town we get about 22 mpg. Not bad for a truck with 305 HP.
