Right you are Dan. It was a short conversation a month ago. This had been niggling in the back of my head since this thread came up so I searched. Here it is... Has Forest River changed the design of the Hybrid Bunk Ends again?

I looked at the new brochure and it does look like it.

Maybe someone with a 2013 can verify. Not that I want this to hijack the OPs thread but it does relate.

......
That was the thread I started.
I started because my 233s was going back to forest river to have 3 leaky attached bunkends replaced and I was wondering what type I would get.

I am picking up the trailer this weekend and will report back then.

Pre-2011 and early 2012 had a bungee & snap configuration. These have flaps.
Late 2012 models are attached bunk ends with no flap.
2013 seems to have added flaps to the attached bunk ends (similar to some other hybrid manufacturers).

The reason I mention this is because (apparently) Rockwood/Flagstaff decided that their first version of the attached bunk ends (2012 1/2) needed the flaps.
I was curious if anyone has actually seen a 2013 model bunkends with flaps yet? I looked online and found pictures of in-stock 2013 from www.houseofcamping.com and they do not have the flaps and look the same as the late 2012 attached bunkends they used to replace the leaking bungee/flap ones originally on my 2012. The other photos of 2013 Roos that show the flaps are listed as "on order", so the pictures are probably from pre 2013 units.

So I have my trailer back from FR.
All 3 bunk ends were replaced and I do not have the flaps.

I think we came to the conclusion in the previous thread about this that the dealers showing 2013 units with these "bunk flaps" were using stock photos of pre fixed bunk tent units.

Someone noted back in the first thread that therefore had a picture of a "2013" unit on yher lot with flaps, but below the picture it said coming soon. Stock picture? - probably IMHO

I understand that FR continues to make modifications to trailer designs even in a given year. Has anyone purchased a newly built 2013? does it come with a bed system with a skirt (outer flap)?

My 2013 233S built the week of July 4th.

No flap attached canvas.

I poured water on it and it runs off. The metal bunk end has no lip on it and the water runs right off. Actually kind of sloped so water runs right off.

Mad4sax,

is it possible to take an image of the outer bed end near the hinge (where it connects to the trailer?
