Our new, to us, 2007 Shamrock 23RS

We pick up a gently used TT on the opposite coast of FL over the weekend. Had a few interesting challenges so far. The worst was when we stopped to get something to eat for dinner and it was pouring buckets when we left the restaurant. There was a big piece of speckled plastic lying on the ground in the parking lot. Was going to ignore it as nasty litter when I realized I had seen it before. I was lying on the lower full bunk and noticed that the vent cover was moldy looking, earlier in the day. We opened the trailer and the hole was a downspout with water pouring in on the bunks. The plastic had dried out and was like peanut brittle. Tonight we took out the entire vent mechanism and will get a new one back in ASAP. Going to try to install a MaxxAir cover too while we're at it. The vent caps for the bathroom plumbing need to be replaced as well. Wasn't exactly the start I had hoped for, but we'll get things worked out.

I'll probably be posting some questions as we begin to tackle a few things that seem to need a little TLC.
