Ok, that kind of makes sense then. Your two internal speakers are probably supposed to be left/right on channel A, but instead they hooked up right from A and right from B. This would explain the behaviour you're seeing by dumping the sound to the left.

So, up to you what to do about it. Either you can pull the radio and fix the wiring to get left/right inside and lose the ability to adjust inside vs out. Or leave it as is and enjoy your inside vs out, but not have left/right when watching a DVD.

I had the same problem. I re wired my speakers, so A is the front set, B is the back and C is outside. Works great.

Here is the mod I did for my radio:

Genesis gt 2.0 mods

PS. I love having the outside speakers. Behave respectfully and you should have no problems. Though, that may be a future mod. They mount them on the 23ikss high up and on each side of the kitchen slide. So, the slide blocks the sound unless you walk a good distance away. 2 mounted on the slide would be nice. B channel is now available.

Just a quick thought here, had a similar problem but it turned out that someone had adjusted the balance control all the way to one side.

yup. So what you found is FR used the stereo left and right balance as a fader. So, your internal speakers are tied to one (most likely the left) channel of the stereo. Rewire (and add a fader) so you get stereo sound inside the camper (and from your TV)
