Is that a slide topper on the dinette slide? I wished I would have ordered mine from the factory.

Nice! Question how does your acadia tow? Is it fwd or all wheel drive? Did you get the factory tow package? I had one that was fwd. I towed a 18' boat it did well curious how it tows your roo.

It is an AWD. I have a transmission cooler installed with appropriate hitch and a Pro Series Weight Distribution System along with sway bar (which I've never used) with an electric brake controller. This is basically the GM tow package. This will keep your tongue weight down. I was a little wary of pulling a trailer with 4400 lbs dry weight in vehicle rated for 5200 lbs but had read many positive reports on the Acadia's towing ability. Lucky for me the seller of the Roo let me try it out on the highway and around town. In addition I installed the tow button which basically lets your transmission shift gears in at a higher rpm than normal to facilitate towing. So far I find I haven't needed it.

Performance on highways is good. It's not a rocketship but I have no problems obtaining or maintaining highway speed. Actually I had a Starcraft 176RB trailer at about 3050 lbs before and I see very little difference in hauling. Tanks are always drained before leaving campground and I try to travel fairly light not hauling firewood. I am going to have the vehicle weighed at a truck weight station and check the tongue weight just to be sure I am not over.

I had an 18' boat a couple of years ago that towed well even with my old Pontiac Montanna van rated for 3500lbs without a weight distribution system. (towed the Starcraft with that also).

Absolutely! It was the first mod we added to the trailer. I don't think I would even want the electric awning option without the awning poles. Hard to believe the manufacturers haven't jumped on it yet.

Hi, even though our kids are grown up and gone we stayed there because we've heard how nice it is. It's more of a resort than a cg. Really nice place, all kinds of activities for the kids, they have some huge sites that even have patios setup with gas grills, tables and chairs. Your family would really enjoy it.
