Shamrock/Roo Help & Thanks

This forum is awesome with all its knowledge, so THANKS!!!
Camping last weekend in th Big Horn Mts was great. It was cold, snowed, hailed, & rained. Needless to say we ran the battery down very low. When I went to slide the slide-out in it only made it about 3/4 of the way then the battery died. Threw the genny on & it wouldn't budge. Got out the hand crank got it all the way in and "snap pop" the pin at the end of the extension shaft broke. I thought the motor was bad due to the horror stories I have read about. After more research I found a very common problem of the 30 amp fuse in the green case by the battery blowing. I never would have thought this fuse is for the slid-out motor. Went back up the mountain camping for the 4th. Very 1st thing I did was checked that fuse. To my pleasure is was blown. Replaced it, works like new again.

"Knowledge is Power"
#1 - You knew how to bring the slide in the rest of the way
#2 - You knew where to look for the blown fuse

You knew more about troubleshooting the slide problem than I did when I had my Roo.

Love those Big Horns... traveled across them 11 years ago in late June. Got out and threw snowballs at my (then) 14 year old son. He still talks about that trip.

I replaced mine with a circuit breaker. No problem since.
