Sleeping on the rear hard slide when in (Roo 25RS)?

Does anyone know the weight limits, in and out for the rear slide on a Roo 25 RS?

I was told by one of the employees at the dealer that it is safe and allowed to sleep on the rear slide when in.
I have not found anything in my documentation package that either supports or denies this (but admit that I could have missed it).

Thanks!

Sorry you have not gotten a response yet. I have posted the question on RV.net to try and get you an answer.

Thanks for the assist!

That helps, I've also placed a call into the dealer asking for spec's.
(just haven't heard back yet)

Received call back from dealer.

They contacted Forest River for spec’s, and responded with:
“I wasn’t able to come up with any real stat’s or a pound type weight rating for the slide… I did find out that the rear slide is not intended to be used while in the retracted position, but with a little common sense, could be used. The reasoning behind this is that it is designed to support and stabilize itself it the extended position”

Sounds like we all got your answer on this one.....I didn't see this thread and even if I did, I wouldn't have had an answer for you, but thanks for the pm and direction to this thread. I did look at my manual and there is no mention on weight limits for the slides.

We learn something new every day.
