Slide wont work on 21ss

I'm having an issue with my slide on my 21ss. I keep blowing fuses and it won't come in. Can anyone tell me how to manually crank it in? I can't find it anywhere.

There is a hole between the tires on the door side of the trailer for the handle.

If it's continually blowing fuses, the slide room may be binding (can you see any evidence of that?) or you have a lot of extra weight in the slide room.

On mine at least, it is in the brown part of the fender. The handle fits over a T shaped protrusion on the frame

Is it making a ratcheting sound like when it's fully in or out? Have you tried having someone outside pushing on the slide while pushing the in button?

Dave I did try that with no luck. At first there was a little movement but now there is no ratcheting and it sounds like it is just spinning. I can't find any bolt to manually do it. I've looked between the tires but I must be blind! Thanks for the help

I found this on your 21ss '"There is indeed a hex bolt on the motor, but the axle is in the way and makes cranking a difficult operation"

I have a 233S and mine is located on the slide side (driver's side of the trailer).

Sounds to me like the hairpin (cotter pin) might have sheared off. I can post a picture of what It looks like. This will be located on the hex head that you manually crank.

someone else had same issues "Slide out motor has failed 3 times. The motor keeps either stripping gears or simplly will no longer move the slide. We have to crawl under and crank it with a wrench" s Triguy said cotter pin was other problem.

Here you go. I hope that this helps you. I am looking from my slide-side (see the adjustment bolt for perspective). Remember, though, mine is a 233S so we might have different Lippert components or arrangement. Either way, you should have a pin.

Mine looks similar but I do not see any hole in frame with bolt. Do I just use a wrench on the square rod?

I honestly do not know. The motors and mounting look different. I would hesitate to turn the rod that way.

Could you have someone bump the drive control while you're under there and is where the slipping/spinning noise is coming from...ie gearbox, motor?

Sorry it didn't work for you. Hard to believe that there is no manual override extending from the gear box. Weird...
