Branson MO is a dump. Better to go to Smokey Mountains, runs circles around Branson plus much closer.

You are the first person I have ever heard say that. If I were to compare the two, I would have to say just the opposite and I've been to both at least 4 times at Pigeon Forge (Smokeys) at least 10 times to Branson. Traffic is worse in Branson, but it is also much more popular.

Lake George NY is great also if you have small kids look at the Jellystone park in Elmer NJ, my kids are grown and I still want to go there

Been pulling boat trailers my whole life but this is only my second RV and I have learned a lot on this forum also watching RV Geeks YouTube videos

Enjoy the Season and be safe

Unless you love crowds, dont pick Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! That was crazy! I never seen so many go cart tracks and wax museums. That will never be a trip I will repeat.

If you have passport consider traveling to Canada. With the current exchange rates your US dollar is worth $1.20 Canadian.

Actually thinking of Canada in the fall. Have you been to Calgary and Banff? We loved Yellowstone and Teton, so thought this would be another adventure.

We went to Colonial Williamsburg for spring break. Lots to do around that area with Busch Gardens and Jamestown too. We stayed at

Newport News Park: Newport News Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism - Virginia

Nice place and nice staff. We'd stay there again.

They BOTH suck IMHO. But we don't like shows and tourist traps. I was ready to gnaw my arm off stuck in traffic leaving SMNP trying to get back to campsite. And Branson is just as bad.

Some people may enjoy the shows and Atmosphere (my in laws do), but I camp to get away from mass crowds. To each their own. the important thing is
