Suugestions for removing tree sap

I have some spots of tree sap from pine trees on the vinyl of our Wildwood expandable. I would like to give it a good cleaning and remove the sap before I put ti away for winter. Does anybody have suggestions for removing it without harming the vinyl and diminishing its waterproof capability? Any help would be appreciated.

Lacquer thinner.

Apply with a spray bottle. Rub lightly. Wipe clean.

Later,

camping world has some stuff , Black streak remover, that i use, I have a western red ceder in my back yard that turns my 5th wheel red if I dont have it covered, and this stuff is great, I use that and a Rubbing pad that dosnt scratch the fiberglass to remove the red streaks

Usually all you need is cold soapy water. If that doesn't work try a good wax and grease remover.

Wow! Resurrecting a 4 1/2 year old thread.

Since alive again, this is why you need to get PUGs.
then your vinylized canvas would stay clean.
