TPMS requires you to screw small extensions to the tire valve stems to measure the pressure and send them wireless to a monitor that goes in the cab of your TV.

I suggest the TST with color monitor. SHop around for the best price. The TST system is very well supported by a member on this forum... Mike Benson I believe his name is.

Consider that someone with a trailer, picking it up and doing a PDI... something is missing or does not work and says the deal is off until that part is on and working... Well most dealerships would not hesitate to "borrow" a part from a stored trailer to get the other one out the door. Has happened before and will happen again.

As soon as I got my Shamrock home, I crawled under, zip tied loose wires to the frame, and covered them with wire loom (corrugated plastic split pipe from Harbor Freight), then sprayed about 6 big cans of undercoating on any metal underneath to help with corrosion. 5 years later and I am glad I did that as I occasionally drive on salted roads, as I am about to early in Feb to get to FL.

OH, and most important, financing aside, don't sign off on the trailer until you do a through PDI at the dealership where they hook everything up to demonstrate that it works, and you take notes or film things that you may not be knowledgeable about. Until you SIGN OFF on it, it is still THEIR trailer and NOT YOURS.

Hey Folks....Need some advice on a couple of things.
Which progressive EMS to purchase? Iím assuming the ROO 21SS has a 30 amp service?

Do I need a WDH? Iím towing with a 2015 RAM 2500 6.4 Hemi gasser.
I have no experience with a WDH.

Yes, the Roo has 30 amp service.

You need to read your Ram's owners manual about the necessity of a WDH. At least get an antisway bar.

I bought the progressive industries ems. Likely overkill but, I sleep better with it.

I hate the hinged door as my plug is too big. They know about the issue.

The max hitch weight of your trailer is likely 25% of the payload of the Ram. I think weight distribution features Sort of on the border line. I doubt the rear will lower an inch.

The Ram has some anti sway feature built into the rear as I remember. So anti sway control and the length of the trailer additional anti sway is a real good question.

The new Anderson hitch is interesting. And it doubles as a ball mount which you will need also.

Bearcat1, congrats on your new Roo! We also just bought a new camper and I’m leaving it stored at the dealer until the road salt has been washed off the roads. I think there is minimal risk in leaving it at the dealer’s lot. I know there is going to be a problem if I pull it home this time of year since I have no way of washing it off where it’ll be stored. The dealer agreed to defer the start of the warranty until I take it home.

We took delivery of the unit yesterday. We will take her out during Easter weekend to one of the county parks close to home.

Questions I should have asked yesterday but totally forgot.. does the water heater only operate on electric? The guy only showed us the electrical switch on the heater and the control panel.

Never mind. Found out the water heater runs by propane and electric.

What is EMS and why does one need it?

An Energy Management System (EMS) will protect sensitive electronic components in your camper due to low voltage, high voltage or electrical surges. https://www.campingworld.com/ems-pt5...xoCUGgQAvD_BwE
