Trailer Aid

Anyone use one of these? My husband and I used it a few weeks ago so we could grease our axle hubs. The big issue was the aid didn't stay put, even though it has two bolts that protrude down and should bite into the road surface. Most of the time, as my husband tried pulling up on it, it came shooting out from under the tires like a watermelon seed. I tried placing a rubber mat under it, as well as a 1x6. We did eventually get it to stay under each of the 4 tires, but I am wondering if someone has hit on the ideal solution to make it stay put.

I have only used mine once when the trailer was on grass. I had a 2x12 under the wheels though and did not experience this problem.

We have one we bought for our old TT. When pulled up on it, the other wheel never came off the ground.

I have found the same thing at times BUT... It gets me 90% there in a very stable way. I use a bottle Jack just a few pumps to get the remaining tire of the ground.

It is much more stable than 100% jacking IMHO.
